ABOUT US
The Kentucky Lake Sailing Club promotes, organizes, and carries out sailboat racing in Kentucky Lake region. We help people learn to race, take part in educational experiences and cruises,hold socials and cooperate with other organizations to encourage and promote sailing.
HISTORY
The Kentucky Lake Sailing Club has a rich history dating back to 1953 when the first regatta was held on Kentucky Lake.
CLUB SERIES
The Kentucky Lake Sailing Club Race Series is designed to introduce skippers and crews to the sport of sailboat racing as well as develop and improve sailing skills. By sailing around the course, skippers and crews can work on: sailing all points of wind, tacking, turning on specific marks, GPS and compass navigation as well as single-handling boats and / or crew coordination. MEMBERSHIP
The Kentucky Lake Sailing Club provides activities of interest for all Kentucky Lake area sailors. Whether you race, cruise or just like boats and boat people, there is a place for you in our club. The yearly schedule includes invitational regattas, educational programs, cook outs and social events from April through November. Come Sail With Us!
